Two weeks ago, the NCAA tournament kicked off with 64 arguable teams. Two weeks ago, the selection committee left off some quality teams such as Virginia Tech and Arizona State (when “analysts” complained about this “error” non-stop until the first Thursday tip-off). It was two weeks ago, our eyes began to burn staring at Bob Knight’s atrocious wardrobe selection and horrendous Final Four picks (Pittsburgh winning it all????.you gotta be kidding me).
But now, after eliminating 60 teams from the greatest sports tournament in the world, we are left with the 4 best teams in the country according to the selection committee. I would have to agree with the selection committee in their picks as number one seeds. Over the course of the regular season, no other teams have been able to maintain consistency and compete at the same level as North Carolina, Kansas, UCLA and Memphis. No Cinderella this year (Sorry Davidson).
Just the four best teams in the country for the first time in NCAA Tournament history are headed down the famous RiverWalk in San Antonio this weekend.
